Simferopol airport

Another airport to certainly mention is Simferopol in Crimea, used half by foreign tourists and half by the Ukrainians.



This airport with an International character is 6 km outside the city, to the north-west. A very new modern construction and runway.
From the numerous national and overseas destinations there are: Kiev, Frankfurt, Tel Aviv, Istanbul, Moscow, St Petersburg, Minsk, Novosibirsk, Ekaterinburg, Ufa, Krasnoyarsk, Tashkent, Erevan, Habarovsk, Kazan, Murmansk, Vilnus, and Lvov.

Direct connections with the city of Simferopol is by taxis and buses other than the traditional forms.

For example a taxi from Yalta to the airport costs about 300 grivne (equal to 50 Euros).
